Believe it or not, I’m not hung up on this Jon and Kate (+ 8, the TV show) thing like so many people are. It’s just that I happen to have a lot in common with Jon.
For instance, we both hate Kate.
Also, at any given moment at least two of our own children (more, in his case, ‘cause he has so many) irritate us no end.
Plus, we both hate Kate. I know I said that already but after watching a rerun late last night when I couldn’t sleep, I feel it bears repeating. Or should that be “bares repeating” because I was in bed nekkid while I was watching the show (satin sheets feel good on the skin).
But the main thing I have in common with Jon (besides the hate-Kate thingy) is that one of his dogs is named after me. Not my first name. My middle name. The name that is my father’s name spelled backwards. The name that is also my sister’s middle name.
Jon’s other dog is named Shoka.
