A recipe for friendship

Feel free to take notes because I'm about to tell you how to make a good friend.

First take two strange people strangers, i.e. The Purple Goat Lady and The Texas Woman.

Mix together with two kinds of soups, one brownie with nuts, and two hours of small talk, trade secrets, and tall tales. Bring to a boil in the Texas heat.

Throw in three junk stores and a fabric store and stir well.

Add very little money, several good finds, and a home tour and bake well. When the timer goes off (sadly) and it's time to say good-bye, you will have, in the best use of the words, a new friend - a treasure not usually found at garage sales and thrift stores.
