IT Guy takes you along
for the ride of your life!

Above photo courtesy of Wimberly Zipline Adventures.

David wins the non-contest! We've been ziplining at Wimberley Zipline Adventures just out of San Marcos, Texas.

In this video IT Guy takes you along on his ride across WZA's longest section (they have eight) which is 875 feet between two hillsides. You and IT Guy were going over 30 miles an hour at your fastest point and over 100 feet above the valley floor at your highest.

Thanks for coming along with us. If you enjoyed our rides, call WZA and book your own!

  5. I think I'll ZIP over to the grocery store and then ZIP home. That's enough excitement for me today!

  6. I love that neck of the scrub brush. Are you gonna go white water rafting up the Comal with a innertube full of beer?

  7. Well, I only "won" by Googling "Zip Lines in Texas" because your picture looked like the Texas Hill Country to me. Really cool! Makes a great video too! I am so in! If you ever go to Costa Rica, you should try it there too. There, it's from tree to tree. And the trees are HUGE! So you're like 150' above the ground, but it doesn't really feel like it because when you look down, you're mostly seeing the tops of smaller trees that are "only" 70' tall or so. And there are howler monkeys up there with you. I even saw a Toucan flying below me. But I digress. Mindy and I will have to do some Texas style zip lining the next time we're in the area. Thanks for sharing!
